EMAC is the open data platform of the regional monitoring framework for students on the move in Latin America and the Caribbean. As such, it is consolidated as a space for knowledge, diagnosis and support for the formulation and implementation of educational policies aimed at guaranteeing the right to education of people in mobility contexts.

The platform, developed by OREALC/UNESCO Santiago and its partners, is implemented within the framework of the Regional Strategy for UNESCO's response to the situation of people in the context of mobility and the Quito Process, especially within the Joint Declaration of the VI International Technical Meeting on Human Mobility of Venezuelan Citizens.
